[CHATTER] Website update + other stuff

Othercon this year was fun, did a panel for it, which is up on our website now, also added a werecard template and a huge amount of links and a new page for plural books.
Also we are planning on a huge link address overhaul to organize stuff better into like folders instead of scattered haphazardly all around.
This is gonna break a lot of links, but in the long run its better for organization, and no pages will be going away- just changing addresses.

Its gonna take a bit to do and we will implement it all in one go alongside some other updates, but we just wanted to give a good heads up ahead of time that some links will be changing.


In non-website related news, been mostly doing work and drawing.

Finished the first novel of Temeraire also recently. Very good! Got blindsided by the fact that the author helped found A03- reading back, yeah that tracks. The prose and narrative uses tropes that feel fanfiction-ey in a good way. Also the homoerotic tension between the MC and the dragon is excellent. Kudos indeed lol.

Still slowly crawling through SMTV. Need to get back on the horse and binge another stretch. Feel like im nearing the end now maybe!

I really liked Her Majesty's Dragon, and my friends keep telling me I need to read the rest of the series b/c it becomes about the exact kind of politics nonsense I enjoy, apparently

Yeah Ive only heard good things about it.
Already have the second book, just have to get to actually reading it lol.

No worries about the link changes, this is EXACTLY why we ask permission to rehost locally as back-up links. :B

Yes! Its excellent preservation practice.
We'd do local copies of some of the stuff in our archive but tracking down the owners of all those google docs that people write guides on would be an Ordeal so its a for Later project and things go on the wayback instead.
Glad its not gonna effect anything on your end.
