Graduated college!
Trying to work on a bunch of stuff right now, will eventually organize and use this space more and have a pinned post, as I like it far better than say, *twitter*. Its just gonna be a bit because busy. Will get around to figuring out how to use the tiered access thing.

Have two bits of writing done and up on the website:
"How Do I Know if I'm Plural?" <- document intended to help with those questioning plurality, 9 pages
The Plural Sort of Ego Death <- personal essay by one of us regarding existential musing both a fictotype & a plural sort of essay

Stuff in the drafts: various fanfic, a 'should I tell my parent/teacher/gp/etc about being plural?' document, an incredibly rough draft version of 'otherkin manners', some other essays

Also been very busy so not much content has been made really. Did some work on the webbed site, did some essaying, etc, but still working on most of the WIPs, reddit backlog, etc.

Have made the decision to use this blog for more personal stuff, certain portions of which will be under locked.
Yes you may ask for access.

Fandom stuff will continue to be a thing, just some person stuff in there too. May try and figure out how tiered access lists work but not pressured, if you ask to have access you will probably get it.

Other stuff
- Yes the plural media reviews are coming hhhhhh so much stuff and zero free time
- Working on final bingo entry, coming right down to the wire.
- managed to finally switch 100% fully out of front a few day ago for the first time in ages, yessss no longer frontstuck for the first time in several years, rejoice!!
- trying to figure out pluralkit, think we might grow to like it, tried simply plural and found it Useless for us
- Debating linking this place instead of the tumblr on the webbed site.

Updates:
- Trying to bang out that last prompt for the bingo, its coming, should probably be done by the deadline
- Been trying to work on the plurals in media blog, but slow going because school and current major deadlined writing project. Promise updates are coming eventually, other stuff just has to come first for now.
- Other writing projects are off and on opened and a sentence is typed in.
- College semester has stated up again
- Cat is still a little nightmare (affectionate)
- Webbed site is gaining more links and such, so thats cool.

Went to Othercon! It was great! The panels I was able to catch were all super good and it just felt so freeing and wonderful to be in a (virtual)space that accepted us for how we are.
Subsequently have a bunch of essays we wanna write in the works but we already have 500 projects and the college semester is swiftly approaching
Have progress on my seasonofkink stuff, one is Mostly done (just need to finish 2 transition scenes) and the other is about 2/3rds done (just need to do the smut part) and then ill have completed everything.
Everything is happening so much all of the time hhhhh
Hated the pincident and subsequent SarahZ shite that misconstrued so much shit and caused so many people harassment.
Have been meaning to migrate my reddit posts here, havent yet sorry been busy trying to bang out these fics. The 500 word minimum, 2k word estimated for what I had planned fic is currently 4.8k.
STILL meaning to work on tDoK and Zoo Your Boss, still havent really because Busy and xenoblade takes up about 60% of the brainspace rn. hhhhh

Blog updates & plans:
- Gonna probably actually use this a little more personally, I think, and just lock it behind the access list if its Too Personal. Only posting when I have content makes updates go some fuckin slow.
- Gonna probably start migrating my good reddit/twitter/etc ramblings more so they are saved somewhere with Tagging

Other news:
- Have kitten. Little hellion I love her she is made of chaos and too clever for her own good. Walks good on a leash and purrs a lot. She bites everything and everyone getting her to not bite is Hell she recognizes no authority and is far too clever because she knows what is a Good behavior she gets praise for and does it right after she does a Bad Thing. Very cute tho.
- More work on the neocities has happened. Good.
- Read a bunch of fanfic, have been writing a bunch of fanfic. Hopefully will be done before the seasonofkink due date.
- On nonhuman national park forum and its good. You alterhuman somehow? Join the fun. Super friendly and chill compared to a lot of therian/otherkin forums, moderated enough to avoid trolls.

Of Quirks, Dwarves, and Arkenstone by Argeus_the_Paladin - unique BNHAxHobbit crossover. In which Bilbo and Izuku switch places sometimes. Hasnt been updated in awhile. Interesting all the same. Would you believe ive never watched BNHA? I just read random cherry picked fic lmao

The Power Of Friendship (And This Gun I Found!) by GallusRostromegalus - Yu-Gi-Oh crackfic its beautiful and amazing and really gets the Vibe right of weird shit and teen fuckery down PAT. Ongoing and recently updated.
Mutually Assured Destruction by Valiant_Effort - Naruto. Sakura, Itachi, and Kisame are stuck in a time loop. Lots of dying happens its a cool fic.
Like a Good Neighbor by Java_Bean - Homestuck/Muppet crossover, Dirk/Gonzo. I. This is beautiful crack treated with tender seriousness. Yes.

So life has been busy huh?
However I am proud to report that the very special project in the works is really coming along.
The Neocities page is about halfway done, the dreamwidth and tumblr blog mirrors are getting set up, and soon the project can be announced.
This project is vaguely fandom in nature, but its also going to ruffle some feathers because its going to be a cataloguing and analysis of every plural character in media that we can conceivably sort. In an attempt to both point singlets in the direction of learning and plurals to rep in media, but mostly for our own desperate urge to see if anything will ever top Xenoblade 2(which is still Thee best rep we have seen despite not Quite sticking the landing) in the plural rep department and to huff more fanfic.
And yeah, 'we' because -poses- I am plural actually! Hi! Im Silver, the one who posts here 9/10. Bla bla being plural is being more than one person in a body, an experience that includes things like DID, some spiritual practices, those people who make autonomous mental constructs, and other folks. Have a FAQ [HERE], we are making a big fancy resource FAQ and many related essays which is what the neocities is for lol. We though about hosting here but wed like to keep the fandom bubble a bubble mostly.

Also a writing project for a zine is in the works so thats exciting. Hopefully we can finish that before the due date.

Whew! Done with the bingo bits, now I just need to post that

Now my writing goals are:
- Work on my Dino Squad crackfic
- Work on TDoK longfic
- Work on the rest of my WIPs

I have a omegaverse AU dimension+time travel yugioh dm fic plunnie that wont leave me alone that im debating about writing but it would be a longfic and I have a bunch of shit to write anyway, so I guess its just daydream material for now lol. Maybe ill make a post about it but eh.

Ill probably work on the crackfic primarily and TDoK secondarily, as it requires more brainpower to thread the plot. Raptor Dating Sim requires very little factchecking to avoid contradicting myself with little details.

Im halfway to my wordgoal for this month also, so thats good.

I also have half a mind to take over the WITCH group im comodding on here, but thats a lot of work when im already swamped.

Also now getting around to using my icons, which I should be doing more, I know.

Bit different than the usual, but while we were getting hit with the remains of that tropical storm I had to turn all the electronics off and so I had the time to read a physical book so I did.
This one has been sitting on my shelf since 2014 and I only just got around to reading it RIP.

It is The Cats of Tanglewood Forest by Charles De Lint and illustrated by Charles Vess.

I wont be reading it again, thats for sure, but im glad I finally got around to it.
Its glaring issues overshadow the lovely prose and the little morsels of good storytelling to the point were a potentially amazing tale has been reduced to 'meh its native appropriating and doesn't have enough cats, read something else'.

If anyone has recs for books by Native Americans/First Nation people about NDN-flavored fantasy/folktale stuff I will gladly put it on my to-read list.

Imagine this: You are a average person, casually using the internet and social media, you go to look at an account you cant seem to see the reply of out of curiosity, and oops! You're blocked! You have never interacted with this person, and yet they seem to have hated you enough to block you, what gives!?

Except, its not as simple as that. Blocking has become evermore something everyone has to do to curate a pleasant experience in web 2.0, and under the cut today, I'm going to talk about that.

TLDR- Blocking is one of the many tools needed to curate ones internet experience and avoid harassment. Getting blocked by accident happens, stop taking it personally. Often times, blocking is no longer personal. Just shrug and move on.
